The aim of the project is to develop the tourism sector in the targeted areas using creative industries and cultural heritage, thus contributing to the economic growth of the Balkans region. The backbone and the idea of the Creative History Balkans Tour (CHBT) is to develop and promote a tour based on the four historic fortresses in the four Balkan countries: Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia; Citadel Fortress, Old Town of Budva, Montenegro; Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina; and Shkodra Fort in Rozefa, Albania. The tour will be developed in an innovative manner and will appeal to young generations, using the creative industries approach that will supply the new life and attractivity to the old cultural contents of the Balkans heritage.
