HEMI Music Awards 2024 announces the 9 finalists!

The Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation (HEMI) is thrilled to announce the 9 finalists for the HEMI Music Awards (HMA) 2024

Coming from 9 countries of Central & Southeastern Europe (Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia), these 9 HMA artists will now have access to mentoring and training activities targeted towards developing their skills and competencies in communication and revenue streams, with the aim to help propel their international career! 

Moreover, they will get access to HMA touring program including collaborations with booking managers around Europe, networking activities in the 9 HEMI partner events as well as benefits amounted to 2,000 Euros per nominee!

We are proud to introduce 9 exceptional European artists from a wide musical range such as the warm, all-analogue sound of Island Mint from the Czech Republic, the ethereal, otherworldly pop of the Estonian Αnna Kaneelina, the genre blending dance-punk music of AMKA from Greece, the deep, psychedelic, and groovy music of the Hungarian act Freakin’ Disco , the aggressive and experimental sonic spirit  of Lufthansa from North Macedonia, the adventurous and unpredictable take on jazz from the Polish Immortal Onion, the  melancholic, dream-pop style of the romanian, female duo Musspell, the highly dynamic and electrifying indie-punk of Keni Nije Mrtav from Serbia and the fuzzy, artistic and playful power-pop of the Slovenian Astrid.

The 9 HMA finalists were selected from the pool of the 27 nominees of the 1st phase of HMA, HEMI’s International Jury members who represent Festival & Showcase Conferences, Music Venues, Booking Agencies, Music Associations, Export Offices and Music Media. Meet them all here
