Luke Black, Naked, Tebra, Lanna and Innēr Sense performed at EXIT Festival this year, as part of the GrassrEUts project, with the mission is to empower and promote musical talents from Europe and neighbouring countries.
These artists were selected through a competition that was open during the spring for artists from partner countries: Serbia, Hungary, Portugal, Tunisia, and Ukraine. In each country, five national artists have been selected to perform at local festivals, and then some of them will have the
opportunity to shine at some of the most famous festivals in Europe. But for that, they need the support of the audience!
The EXIT audience was able to vote for the artists during the performance itself, and those who did not use their two votes can do so for the next two weeks. Voting is available via the mobile app (Google Play & App Store).
The two artists with the most votes will secure their performance at one of the prestigious festivals: Sziget (Hungary), NOS Alive (Portugal) or Carthage Jazz Festival (Tunisia) during next year.
All information about the contractors, voting and the project itself is available on the website: www.grassreuts.eu.
GrassrEUts is an initiative funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme. The project started in November 2024 and lasts for two years, with the aim of
presenting new voices of the European and neighbourhood music scene at international festivals.
In addition to EXIT, partners in the project are Sziget Festival (Hungary), NOS Alive (Portugal), Jazz Festival of Carthage (Tunisia), All-Ukrainian Association of Music Events (Ukraine) and KUN Centre for Equality and Diversity (Norway).
